Any MBBS doctor who is pursuing post-graduation in psychiatry or has any post-graduate degree in psychiatry after MBBS and also he or she must be a Life Ordinary member (LOM) of the Indian Psychiatry Society or have already applied for the same can apply for membership in the Indian Psychiatric Society Gujarat State branch. It is also necessary that at the time of the application, you must be living or working in the state of Gujarat.
The membership of IPSGSB is for a lifetime but subject to domicile. It means that while one is applying for the membership he or she must be staying or working in the state of Gujarat and until the member stays in Gujarat, membership is valid. Once the member shifts out of Gujarat due to any reason, the membership will be automatically revoked. However, if any of such members shift back to Gujarat it can be revived with an email to the honorary secretary to IPSGSB.
